It was released in April 1969 as the second single from the album, Galveston. The song peaked at number 28 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and number 8 on the Canadian RPM Top Singles chart.[1]
Andy Williams' version appeared on his album Happy Heart, which came out in 1969 only a few weeks after Glen Campbell's single. Everything But the Girl covered the song on the B-side of the 1986 single of "Don't Leave Me Behind".
